Stele focuses on the upright form as a self-contained presence. Isolated or repeated, the standing block establishes relations of measure, distance and confrontation.

Each form is defined not only by its mass, but by the shadow it casts and the spatial field it creates around itself. The stele becomes a figure of stillness, endurance and a restrained sense of monumentality.
