Choros

Choros turns to the most immediate experience of interior space. A floor and two walls, three surfaces in relation, are enough to establish the sense of a place that contains us.

Here, the viewer's position shifts. Space is no longer approached from outside or encountered at a threshold; it has already been entered. The series considers how a minimal architectural condition can generate a complete sense of presence, scale and enclosure.
