Anodos

Anodos considers ascent as both a visual and bodily experience. Stairs, ramps, ledges and raised planes establish a direction that draws the eye upward.

Movement is not described narratively but built into the structure of the composition itself. The viewer does not simply observe an ascent, but is invited to follow it through the relation between volume, surface and light.
